My Morning Habit

Drink water, drink water, drink water. I know we're constantly told this and quite honestly most of us don't drink enough water. We are dehydrated from the inside out. Sometimes it doesn't matter what I put on my skin because I did not drink enough water. My skin is dehydrated.

Think about this way... When you are hydrating yourself it's first going to maintain the health of your vital organs inside your body first so your skin is left waiting for you to drink enough to help maintain its health.

Sometimes it's really tough to make sure water is in your daily routine. So here is one morning ritual I never forget...
As soon as I get out of bed I drink (chug actually) two full glasses of water. I know that sounds insane and impossible, but if you start disciplining yourself to make this part of your morning routine your body will love you for it on the inside and your skin will show it on the outside.

You still need to make sure you hydrate throughout the day, but at least you know you started your day out right. I still love my coffee and I certainly don't want to skip that, but water first.  It's one of the best morning habits to get into.
